Atlanta, Fanta, and the CDC

Taking another swig of Coca Cola
I feel somewhat menaced by Ebola
And while bays open on the Enola Gay
One wonders how consanguinities in civil unions play.

And while sucking on an orange Fanta

I’m glad I don’t live anywhere near Atlanta
Or Fort Detrick issuing deadly Anthrax
Concealed in envelopes labeled snacks

Drinking bottled water is now my credo

Having read of toxic waters in Toledo
Meanwhile Chinese send us milk with melamine
And recommend a recipe by Paula Deen.

Tis best not to open one’s mouth
Whether going in or going south
And dietary caution won’t get you far
Cause what you eat is what you are.

But in my life there is so much was
That my body has turned to fuzz.

Or because clearly it is what it is
My life has turned to so much fizz.
